Pilates Express is our 30 minute online group class, giving you the energy boost you need to get on with your day.

As you know, constant stress and trying to do a thousand things a day only reduces your productivity.

A sedentary lifestyle combined with stress is the main obstacle to getting any project or task done effectively.
This means that the less time we have, the more we need to make time for physical activity.

And we can achieve this even in a small amount of time!

If you’re thinking of doing Pilates Express, you may be wondering...

Yes, you can join the group even if you’ve never done Pilates before. If you’re afraid of being unfamiliar with Pilates, you have the option of having one or more individual 1:1 classes beforehand, so you can familiarise yourself with the basic principles and exercises. Additionally, this lets the instructor get to know your body better, if you have any ailments, and she can then give you the appropriate modifications in the group classes here.

The group classes are from beginner to intermediate level. In each class we adapt the exercises according to level, with variations that are more basic and more advanced. This accommodates those who might have no experience as well as those who have been doing Pilates for years.

If you have an injury, I recommend 3-4 private classes before joining the group class, so we can work on the injury first, as well as get to know your body, strengths and limitations better. Then I can give you appropriate modifications in the group classes. You can find all the information about the private classes here.

Yes, because it’s a safe and suitable class for pregnant women. You also have the option of attending my Pilates Prenatal classes, which are exclusively designed for pregnancy, or you can even combine both class types. You can find all the information about the Pilates Prenatal classes here.

It is safe to do Pilates from the first week of pregnancy, as long as you’ve not been contraindicated and have permission from your doctor or midwife.

Yes you can. It is a class suitable and safe for women in their postnatal year. You also have the alternative of joining my Pre & Postnatal Pilates class (in private or online group format), which are designed especially for the postnatal period, or even combining both group classes. To begin, you must have your doctor's or midwife's authorisation.

The most essential equipment for the class is a Pilates mat (10-15mm thick) and blocks (thin and thick) to adapt the exercises to your body so that you are more comfortable and well aligned. Apart from that, we use equipment like resistance bands, weights, resistance rings, softballs etc.

If you don’t have any pieces of equipment, you can get them from my list of recommended products. Don’t worry, because you don’t need to have all the equipment for your first class. You can gradually acquire them. In addition, we will let you know in advance of each class the equipment you will need. If you don’t have the equipment on a particular day, that’s not an issue, I will give you some modifications so you can either train with an alternative piece of equipment or none at all. You’ll still enjoy the class!

Yes, packages expire 6 weeks from date of purchase. So you will have 6 weeks to attend 4 classes. They are intended to create a regular workout routine, but give you the flexibility to use all your class passes, even if you can’t attend weekly, are ill with a flu or go on holiday.

Just as you did when you purchased your package, you can reschedule any class reserved as part of the package. You are not obliged to attend the classes you booked at the initial time of purchase, because we understand that your availability might change.

Single classes are intended to be used for a one-off session, for example, if you want to try out a single class to see how you feel. These expire 2 weeks from the date of purchase.
We have a 24 hour cancellation policy. So yes, you can cancel or reschedule a class up to 24 hours before the class is scheduled to begin. Cancellation within the 24 hour period prior to your class is considered a late cancellation and you will not be able to reuse the pass for that class. You will be able to access the recording for the next 5 days. After your purchase, you will receive detailed information which explains how to reschedule your Pilates class.
Payment is made in advance and is non-refundable. When you purchase classes, they are subject to the terms and conditions set by Viviane Pilates. If you suffer an injury or become ill and are prevented from joining the class, don’t worry. We will ask for your medical certificate and will pause your package or single class pass until your doctor confirms you are fit enough to return to exercise.

No, I don’t offer trial classes for individuals or groups. The best way to experience one of my classes is to book a single class. You can buy a single group class, or if you’ve never done Pilates before, we advise you start with 1 or 2 individual classes with me. I will teach you the basics, and then you can join a group. You can book your individual class here.

At the moment the online studio is based in Spain, so my studio operates in euros. Your bank will automatically convert your currency at the time of purchase.
